area." This site is hosted by Wheeling Jesuit

Resources for Readers and Teachers of Appalachian Literature
This
site, developed by Tina L. Hanlon of Ferrum College
and Judy A. Teaford of Mountain State University, offers
an exhaustive collection of information and links about
many types of Appalachian literature. Reads the information
page: "AppLit [contains] bibliographies, study
guides, lesson plans, author pages, previously unpublished
folktale texts, original stories and poems, articles
on Appalachian literature and related topics, and links
to other internet resources, as well as regional photos;
background on illustrators, dramatists, and filmmakers;
and illustrations, including drawings by school children
based on their experiences withAppalachian literature
