Teaching & Learning with Technology
Student Technical Assistant (STA) Program

Authors: Mike Smith, Milligan College

Intended audience: Supervisors and directors of STA programs.

Purpose: To train student technical assistants on the ACA campuses in the use of current hardware and software, troubleshooting and resolution, interpersonal interactions, help desk techniques and other topics.

STA Training 2000-2001

These curriculum materials are available for all ACA institutions to use in their STA training programs. 

The materials were developed for the STA Training at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee in October, 2000 with the help of a grant from  the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
