International Studies Programs developed and operated by Davis & Elkins:

Dr. Fulks has taken students to the Yucatan for 8 days as part of a summer school class on the Maya; she has also taken students to San Sebastian and Barcelona for three weeks. In May of 2003, Dr. Fulks will lead a 3-week, 6 credit-hour study abroad program in Costa Rica.

FACDIS (The West Virginia Consortium for Faculty and Course Development in International Studies) http://www.polsci.wvu.edu/facdis/ (This consortium offers holiday and short term travel study at various institutions)

International Studies Programs offered by other institutions, in which Davis & Elkins students may participate:

Davis & Elkins students have participated in various study abroad programs, going to locales such as Australia, Spain, Costa Rica, England and France, through other institutions. Davis & Elkins encourages study abroad and is flexible about transferring credit hours and making the study abroad experience a positive one for students.
