A study of Chiapas State, local villages, Mayan ruins, rain forests, etc. Course credit is offered for students who participate in a semester-long pre-trip class. ARRANGEMENTS COULD BE MADE FOR OTHERS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE FOR CREDIT. Average cost $1,800 (depends on market prices for airfare, currency exchange, etc.) Led by members of Spanish and History Departments at Mars Hill College. Mars Hill in the Mediterranean. Faculty-led trip to the Eastern Mediterranean. Often to the Holy Land or Turkey, Greece, Egypt or a combination of these countries. Led by Religion Department faculty at Mars Hill. International Study consortia of which Mars Hill College is a member:
International Study programs offered by other institutions: Mars Hill College offers students the possibility of studying at the Borderlinks Semester or the Border program in Tucson, AZ and Nogales, Sonora. This program explores the unique character of the Borderlands and Peace and Justice issues, while spending time at the Borderlinks campus in Tucson and in home stays and study tours in Nogales and Northern Mexico. Mars Hill has an affiliation with Regents College, London. Students may also register for non-Mars Hill College affiliated programs.
