When you scan the disciplines above, you will notice many glaring omissions. If an active discipline group or coordinator exists in the ACA, it gets a spot on the list. Current active discipline groups or a discipline coordinator maintain following sections: Education, English, Music, Natural and Physical Sciences, Religion and Philosophy. If valuable information in a certain discipline already existed on the Virtual Center, that information was reformatted, updated, and encouraged to remain. Appalachian Studies and Business and Economics are two examples.
If your discipline is not represented and you would like to help, contact Jay Lloyd Neal at the ACA. He is responsible for maintaining the Virtual Center and is very interested in using the Virtual Center to assist members of ACA schools with their Instructional Technology and Design needs.
